Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Facundo Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buck Bradshaw will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez lands a big shot that drops Bradshaw! Can he finish him?
Bradshaw not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bradshaw is looking for a triangle here but Mendez uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Mendez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bradshaw knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bradshaw sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mendez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bradshaw looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bradshaw looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bradshaw!

Mendez bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Mendez misses with a two punch combination.
Bradshaw moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mendez waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Bradshaw.
Mendez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Mendez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mendez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mendez won't allow Bradshaw to sweep him here.
Bradshaw manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mendez manages to get himself to full guard.
Bradshaw stands and throws Mendez's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bradshaw is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mendez is trying to escape and Bradshaw transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mendez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bradshaw! Very nice indeed!
