The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Ancheta.
Ancheta takes a swing at Fernandez's ribcage but misses.
Ancheta pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fernandez is defended easily by Ancheta.
A head kick misses from Ancheta.
Fernandez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ancheta goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fernandez shoots in for a takedown but Ancheta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ancheta throws a head kick that half lands.

Fernandez is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ancheta paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick misses from Ancheta.
Ancheta throws a sloppy head kick

and Fernandez counters with a shoot takedown. Ancheta fights it but they end up in guard.
Fernandez advances to half guard.
Ancheta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fernandez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fernandez seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ancheta is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
