Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daemon Blackfyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pat Magdaleno!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magdaleno shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Blackfyre counters with a series of strikes. Magdaleno will be more careful next time no doubt.
Magdaleno with a poor takedown
and Blackfyre counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Magdaleno shoots for a double leg takedown but Blackfyre sprawls well. He's pushed Magdaleno's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Daemon Blackfyre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Magdaleno.
Nice uppercut lands for Blackfyre. That snapped Magdaleno's head back.
Magdaleno has his takedown stuffed
and Magdaleno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Blackfyre scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Magdaleno doesn't seem bothered though.

and Blackfyre counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Blackfyre counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Magdaleno drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Blackfyre Rushes Magdaleno and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Magdaleno is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Blackfyre Piles on the pressure and Magdaleno crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daemon Blackfyre!
Daemon Blackfyre decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
