Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brock Catherins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenny Money!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catherins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Money.
Catherins shoots for a double leg takedown but Money sprawls well. He's pushed Catherins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Catherins dives in and grabs Money's left leg, looking for a takedown. Money pushes down on Catherins's head and hops out.
Catherins throws a head kick that misses.

Money gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Money is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Money tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Catherins's elbow.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Money holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Money working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Catherins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Catherins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Money is on top in guard.
Money wants to get up but he can't break Catherins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Money stuffs the takedown attempt from Catherins. Catherins gets slowly back to his feet.

Catherins shoots in and bounces Money off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
