The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones scores with the left hand. Magnar knows he should have avoided that one.
Magnar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones misses with a straight left.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
Magnar throws a low kick, looking for Jones's leg but Jones calmly moves out of range.

Jones slips a straight right by Magnar.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Magnar moves away and avoids it.
Magnar tries a low kick but Jones avoids it.
Fabio Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones thows a leg kick but Magnar checks it
and Magnar counters with a nice body shot.
Magnar walks into a left hand.
Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Magnar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Magnar makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Magnar counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Magnar finish him?!

Jones is rocked!
Magnar feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Jones crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
