The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Silva lands but Pizdowsky takes it in his stride.
Silva looks to land a combination but Pizdowsky avoids it well.
A decent looking cross lands there for Silva.
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pizdowsky's calf.
A left and a right from Silva both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Pizdowsky drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Silva follows Pizdowsky to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

A determined Helio Silva didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
