Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorg Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann comes to the cage accompanied by Hawaii '78. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan moves forwards but Mann connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Mann has closed the distance and engaged Sullivan in a clinch.

Sullivan pulls guard effortlessly.
Mann throws a big right hand that misses.
Mann trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mann wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving.
Mann knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sullivan on the ground.
Mann working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mann with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sullivan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mann wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving.

Mann throws an elbow that misses. Sullivan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mann's guard. Nice move by Sullivan!

Sullivan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sullivan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mann kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jorg Mann just wasn't active enough.
Mann jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Mann is trying to ground and pound but Sullivan uses the momentary lack of control by Mann to regain half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mann is pressing down on Sullivan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sullivan is holding on for now.
Sullivan is looking to improve his position.

Mann is just content to waste time from the top position. Sullivan takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Sullivan wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mann is sitting in close to Sullivan's body. Sullivan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mann is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mann is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sullivan.
