Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Brandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormier kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Grafh - Knock'em Down. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandt throws a sloppy head kick and Cormier moves out of range easily.
Cormier tries to clinch up but Brandt circles away and keeps his distance.
Cormier closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brandt did well to prevent Cormier getting side control.
Brandt wants to get back to full guard.
Cormier tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Brandt.
Brandt has his hands clasped together around Cormier's back. He's all about the action.
Cormier is pressing down on Brandt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brandt is holding on for now.
Brandt wants to control but Cormier is keeping busy.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tom Brandt wasn't active enough on the ground.
Brandt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cormier's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brandt is in close to Cormier's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Brandt won't allow Cormier to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brandt landing with the ground and pound.
Brandt keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cormier's head.

Brandt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brandt advances to half guard.
Brandt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Brandt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cormier is just riding it out for now. Brandt eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cormier is looking to get back to full guard here but Brandt has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brandt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cormier, who protects the arm well.
Brandt lands a nice forearm strike.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brandt landing a few strikes.
Brandt lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Cormier is pushing Brandt's head away, looking to escape. Brandt manages to hold on to the position though.

Brandt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Brandt has hold of Cormier's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cormier seems comfortable defending it but Brandt has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cormier is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cormier is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Brandt couldn't care less - he's delighted!
