Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baldine Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Ericksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baldine Gracie had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Baldine Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Ericksson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gracie moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Alexander Ericksson has been cut.
Gracie slaps away a takedown attempt from Ericksson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ericksson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gracie Throws a clean left jab. Gracie Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Ericksson's chin! Ericksson crumbles to the ground and Gracie follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Gracie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Baldine Gracie!
