Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iivana Jalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jalo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Aino Venna - Waltz to Paris. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Burger closes the distance but Jalo moves to the side
and Jalo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jalo takes a swing at Burger's ribcage but misses.
Burger walks into a jab.
Jalo misses with a looping left.
Jalo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jalo wants to land a leg kick but Burger is out of range.
Jalo throws a lazy right hand but Burger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jalo throws a shot from downtown. Burger moves away and avoids it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jalo throws a series of punches but Burger avoids them all with ease.
Burger doesn't manage to clinch there - Jalo circles away.

and Jalo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jalo throws a lazy right hand but Burger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Burger tries to clinch up
and Jalo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jalo.

and Jalo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Burger's knee momentarily.
Burger is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Donk. Jalo catches Burger right on the button with a cross.
Jalo connects with a nice cross there... Burger is looking wobbly and Jalo recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Burger to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Jalo jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Iivana Jalo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
