Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn comes to the cage accompanied by Walking Tall. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn lands a head shot.
Vaughn misses with a body punch
and Frazier counters with a nice uppercut.
Vaughn swings for the body but Frazier moves out of range.
Frazier shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vaughn as he jumps to the side.
Vaughn swats away the attempt to clinch by Frazier.
Frazier looks to land a combination but Vaughn avoids it well.

Frazier drives through and clinches with Vaughn against the cage.
Vaughn is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Frazier is defending well.
Frazier has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Frazier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frazier closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Vaughn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Vaughn works over Frazier's head and body with a nice combination.
Frazier lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vaughn backs up against the cage.


It looks like Chris Vaughn has been cut.

Frazier rushes Vaughn and presses him up against the cage.
Frazier is trying to drag Vaughn to the mat but Vaughn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Vaughn has clasped his hands together around Frazier's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Vaughn is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Frazier's shoulder. That is not cool.
Frazier is not content to let Vaughn control the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Vaughn will probably get the nod.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Frazier. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Frazier remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Frazier decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vaughn to his feet.

Vaughn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frazier has him pressed against the cage.

Vaughn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frazier finds it's way round the side to connect with Vaughn's head.

Well Frazier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
