The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buendia fails with an attempt to clinch.
Briges Iii changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buendia tries to avoid it but Briges Iii manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buendia to the ground. Buendia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Briges Iii dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Buendia. That did some damage!

Buendia bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Buendia has knee on belly and moves into mount.
