Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Volkanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Hoogachunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoogachunga closes the distance and clinches up with Volkanov, looking for a takedown. Hoogachunga pushes Volkanov against the ropes but Volkanov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Volkanov gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Volkanov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Volkanov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Volkanov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hoogachunga with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
