The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salaam misses with a head kick.

Georgowich clinches up with Salaam and pushes him back against the ropes.

Salaam breaks from the clinch.
Georgowich connects with a solid leg kick.

Good leg kick by Georgowich there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Salaam throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Georgowich stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Salaam fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Georgowich manages to avoid it.
Salaam lands a front kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salaam will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Georgowich keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Salaam looks low and kicks high, catching Georgowich right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A chopping leg kick lands by Georgowich.
Salaam cracks Georgowich with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Georgowich is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Georgowich is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Georgowich could not beat the count!
