Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Anthony Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Micheal White!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
White comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
White scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
White scores with a spinning back kick!
Johnson tries to land a leg kick but White saw it coming and moves away.
Johnson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Johnson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson throws a body kick that misses.
White throws a lazy body kick
and Johnson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White moves out of range of the body kick.
White scores with a nice right hand.
Micheal White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Johnson is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches.

White breaks from the clinch.
Johnson tries to clinch but White is having none of it.

White pushes Johnson up against the ropes in a clinch.
White working aggressively here.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from White.
White lands a two punch combo.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
White throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
White takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice shot by White.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
White misses with a lunging right hand

and Johnson moves into the clinch.
A short uppercut from White.
Johnson looking to throw knees to the head but White is blocking nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White tries to work over Johnson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
White takes a knee to the side of the body.
Nice elbow from White.
Johnson throws an elbow but it misses.
White lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for White.
White pushes Johnson back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
White blocks an elbow strike.
A shot in the inside from White.
Johnson avoids a wild elbow strike from White.
Johnson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Johnson pushes off an throws an elbow but White leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
White pushes Johnson back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
White lands an elbow inside that Johnson shrugs off.
Johnson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Johnson is breathing heavily.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Johnson.
The fighters circle momentarily. White darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Micheal White dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Johnson misses with a leg kick
and White counters with a straight right that drops Johnson to the canvas! Will Johnson beat the count? He's still wobbly and as the count reaches 7, he's still struggling to make it. 8...9...10. He's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Micheal White!
