Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gurra Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from West. No joy for Berry on that attempt.
Berry moves to clinch but West breaks away

and West moves into the clinch.
West being controlled against the cage.
Berry should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
West tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Berry is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
West misses with a shot to the kidneys.
West lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Berry tries for a takedown. No joy.
West can't find room to land a body shot as Berry controls the action.
Berry prevents a body shot from West.

Berry tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. West smiles and moves away.
Ryan West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gurra Berry.
Berry shoots in looking for a takedown. West tries to sprawl out of it but Berry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. West manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

enabling West to counter with a crisp jab.

and West holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
West lands a hook that snaps the head of Berry backwards.
West misses with a body punch.
West misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Berry is trying to break the clinch but West has him pressed against the cage.

West digs a right hand into Berry's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Berry's gas tank.

West cracks Berry with a nice body shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Berry is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables West to keep the fight standing.

Berry is fighting off a takedown attempt but West is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Berry to the mat. Berry regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
West lands a couple of digs.
West is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
West is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
West distracts Berry with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Berry on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

West looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
West looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berry with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
West has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with West in particular looking to stall.
West passes to full mount!
West lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Berry hang on?
West lands a big shot there that rocks Berry but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
A big strike lands for West! That's really hurt Berry and he's turned his back - West keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! West jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
