Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turk has chosen Status Quo - Deeper and Down as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Turk misses the target.
Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Turk moves away and avoids it.
Turk slips a straight right by Gracie.
Turk pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Turk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Turk scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Turk.

Turk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gracie finds it's way round the side to connect with Turk's head.

Turk lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Turk throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gracie blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Turk throws an elbow but it misses.

Gracie is trying to trip Turk. He has hold of a leg but Turk is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gracie persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Turk defends well.
Turk is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Turk has managed to sneak the leg through.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Turk has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Turk manages to pass to side control!

Braden Turk is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Turk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.
Adam Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adam Gracie.
I think Turk has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
