Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Jonson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson misses with a combination

and Tiger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jonson won't be happy with that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tiger cracks Jonson with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Jonson sneaks out the side door and pushes Tiger away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Jonson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Jonson closes the distance and clinches.
Jonson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Tiger blocking some punches.

Jonson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jonson manages to end up in side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tiger is trying to get back to his feet.
Jonson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Tiger wants to get back to his feet but Jonson drags him back down.

Jonson is working to tighten is grip on Tiger's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tiger has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jonson is really squeezing tight and eventually Tiger passes out! Jonson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jon Jonson!
Jon Jonson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
