Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeremy Crusher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scottie Power!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crusher.
Power is looking to land body kicks.
Power ducks under a wild hook from Crusher.

Crusher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Crusher looking to pass the guard.
Crusher trying to control but Power is working from the bottom.
Crusher trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Power keeping moving, preventing Crusher from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crusher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Crusher sitting in guard here, content to control.
Power really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crusher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Power utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crusher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crusher.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crusher looking to pass the guard.
Crusher throws a big right hand that misses.
Crusher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Power swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crusher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Crusher trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Crusher trying to control but Power is working from the bottom.
Crusher is looking to work some ground and pound but Power has wrist control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Power trying to keep a closed guard but Crusher is proving a slippery customer.
Power keeping moving, preventing Crusher from controlling successfully.
Crusher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Crusher wants to pass the guard but Power is keeping the position.
Crusher pushes down on Power's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Crusher is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Power is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After winning the bout, Jeremy Crusher thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
