The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Mccarry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mccarry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mccarry fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like John Diaz has been cut.
Diaz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mccarry sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mccarry feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Diaz crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
