The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg Jr throws a nice looking combination but Botic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Botic takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Borg Jr scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Borg Jr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Borg Jr leaves Botic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Botic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Borg Jr pinned against the ropes. Borg Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Botic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Borg Jr tries to avoid it but Botic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Borg Jr to the ground. Borg Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nice uppercut lands for Borg Jr. That snapped Botic's head back.
Botic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Borg Jr's waist but Borg Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Botic off to one side.

Botic shoots in looking for a takedown but Borg Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Botic's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

No joy there for Borg Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Botic closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Botic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Borg Jr as he jumps to the side.
Botic is trying desperately to land a takedown but Borg Jr is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Botic.
Borg Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Botic circles away quickly and effectively.

Botic shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Botic was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Botic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Borg Jr, who protects the arm well.

Botic goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Borg Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Botic but great work by Borg Jr.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Borg Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Botic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Borg Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Botic's legs - danger averted.

Borg Jr is sitting in close to Botic's body. Botic has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Borg Jr is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Borg Jr is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Botic.
