Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zenek Ziemski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steve Tobolowsky!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobolowsky swinging wildly here.
Ziemski looks for a takedown but Tobolowsky sprawls well.
Tobolowsky stalks Ziemski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ziemski's face. Ziemski staggers backwards, shaken.
Ziemski shoots for a takedown but Tobolowsky saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ziemski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tobolowsky but Tobolowsky pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tobolowsky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ziemski is working away from the top position though.

Ziemski jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tobolowsky is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tobolowsky and Ziemski has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ziemski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tobolowsky knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Ziemski is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Tobolowsky has control of Ziemski's left arm, preventing Ziemski from doing any damage.
Ziemski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ziemski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tobolowsky knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ziemski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

No joy there for Tobolowsky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ziemski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tobolowsky tries to avoid it but Ziemski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tobolowsky to the ground. Tobolowsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Tobolowsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ziemski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ziemski is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Tobolowsky still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Tobolowsky has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
