Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Whittaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zimmerman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Linkin Park-- What Ive Done. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman shoots in and drives through. Whittaker sprawls well.
Whittaker tries to land a front kick but Zimmerman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A low kick from Whittaker misses

and Zimmerman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Whittaker won't be happy with that.
Whittaker can't do much from the bottom here.
Whittaker is looking for a sweep.

Zimmerman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Whittaker is trying to get back to half guard.
Zimmerman tries to move to mount but Whittaker blocks the move with his legs.
Zimmerman trying to control the position but Whittaker is working away.

Whittaker stops Zimmerman from passing to mount.

Zimmerman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Zimmerman tries to advance to mount but Whittaker denies him.

Zimmerman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Whittaker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zimmerman's guard! Nice work there by Whittaker!
Zimmerman is trying to keep Whittaker in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zimmerman has his foot on Whittaker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Whittaker works his way back into a safe position though.

Whittaker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Whittaker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zimmerman looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Whittaker is defending well. Zimmerman quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Whittaker has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Zimmerman celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
