Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Patterson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kim counters with a one-two to the body.
Patterson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Patterson throws a solid leg kick but Kim takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Patterson.

Kim shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kim is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Patterson wants to get back to his feet.

Kim seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Patterson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kim is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Patterson reverses the position - he's now on top in Kim's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kim shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Patterson is trying to defend but Kim finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
