Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Super Macho Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aj Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macho Man's entrance music is Macho Man. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Super Macho Man has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Super Macho Man seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith slips a straight right by Macho Man.
Macho Man throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.

Macho Man tries to sprawl but Smith drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Smith content to control rather than advance.
Smith passes to side control.
Smith controls the position from side control.
Smith's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Macho Man tries to escape but Smith is in control.

Macho Man is trying to escape the position but Smith is controlling the position.
It looks like Smith might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aj Smith.
Macho Man fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
Macho Man throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Smith counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Macho Man!

Smith thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Macho Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
Smith in side control, throwing shots but Macho Man defends.

Smith remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Macho Man is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Smith wants to control but instead Macho Man manages to regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Macho Man keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aj Smith dominated that round.
That's time! Macho Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Smith tries for a takedown but Macho Man sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Macho Man looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith dives in and grabs Macho Man's left leg, looking for a takedown. Macho Man pushes down on Smith's head and hops out.
Macho Man closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away.
Smith on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Macho Man, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Macho Man against the cage but Macho Man circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Super Macho Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aj Smith.
A slow jab from Macho Man misses its intended target.

Smith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Macho Man was covering up waiting for the punch and Smith finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Macho Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Macho Man wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.
Smith loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Smith slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Smith has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Macho Man defend it? Smith steps over the head and cranks it - Macho Man is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Smith!
