Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butter Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Severino Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bean might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Real American. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Severino Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bean swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rodrigues tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bean manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bean throws a one two combo.

It looks like Severino Rodrigues has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bean looks to land a right hand but Rodrigues moved out of range.
Rodrigues tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bean counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bean throws a lazy right hand but Rodrigues sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bean scores with a takedown into Rodrigues's guard.

Bean is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bean drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bean jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bean drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bean seems to have locked his on tight now - Rodrigues screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bean, as he picks up the win!
