Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Zaylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nexwell Parojevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parojevic has chosen Metallica - Wherever I May Roam as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaylor gets the takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Zaylor takes a little break here. Parojevic wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zaylor throws an elbow but Parojevic slips to the side and avoids it well.

Parojevic is looking to reverse the position.
The referee asks Zaylor politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Zaylor prefers to stall for the moment though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zaylor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parojevic for as long as he can get away with.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Zaylor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zaylor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zaylor has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Parojevic stuffs the takedown.
Parojevic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zaylor.
Zaylor feints and as Parojevic raises his hands in defense, Zaylor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zaylor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Parojevic wants to sweep here but Zaylor controlling him for the moment.
Parojevic wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Zaylor is now in half guard.

Parojevic closes the distance and clinches up with Zaylor, looking for a takedown. Parojevic pushes Zaylor against the cage but Zaylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Parojevic throws a right and a left that Zaylor avoids nicely.
Parojevic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zaylor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Parojevic manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
