The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

hughes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Florini looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
hughes wants to take his opponent's back but Florini doesn't allow it.

hughes jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Florini is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Florini and hughes has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

hughes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Florini, who protects the arm well.
Florini manages to get back to half guard.
Florini tries to get to full guard but hughes has control of the leg.
hughes works his way into full mount!
hughes wants to take Florini's back here but Florini is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

hughes is working for a guillotine from mount but Florini frees his head quite easily.

Florini has left one of his arms exposed and hughes doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Florini screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
