The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manners throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lancing tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Manners is in Lancing's guard.
Lancing looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Manners throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lancing works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Manners lands a couple of digs.
Manners scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Manners throwing strikes from guard but Lancing blocks nicely.
Manners distracts Lancing with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lancing has momentary wrist control but Manners slips an elbow through the middle.
Lancing not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Manners throws a strike but Lancing rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lancing stops Manners from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Manners shoots in and drives through. Lancing sprawls well.

Manners shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lancing's guard.
Manners throws an elbow that misses. Lancing uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Manners's guard. Nice move by Lancing!
Manners is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lancing dives into side control.

Manners is pushing Lancing's head away, looking to escape. Lancing manages to hold on to the position though.

Manners is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Lancing take his back! Uh oh - Lancing has got a rear naked choke here! Manners is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
