Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Cote!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cote.
Cote throws a lazy head kick
and Richman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cote gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Richman pushes Cote away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cote gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Richman is looking for a sweep.
Cote has hold of Richman's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Richman seems comfortable defending it but Cote has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Richman is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Richman is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cote couldn't care less - he's delighted!
