The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rickson misses with an uppercut. Maddox saw that one coming.
Rickson looks to land a combination but Maddox avoids it well.
Maddox avoids a kick to the body.
Rickson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rickson scores with a kick to the body.
Maddox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rickson.
Rickson throws a leg kick but Maddox sees it coming and moves out of range.
Rickson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Brad Maddox has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rickson throws a hook to the side of Maddox's head but Maddox sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maddox takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Rickson lands a big head kick that sends Maddox tumbling to the mat! Rickson takes a step backwards and waves Maddox back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rickson takes a swing at Maddox's ribcage but misses.
Carl Rickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maddox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rickson cracks Maddox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rickson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carl Rickson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rickson throws a series of punches but Maddox avoids them all with ease.
Maddox swings for the body but Rickson moves out of range.
Rickson circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Maddox drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rickson follows Maddox to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
