Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bayden Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 1 hitta quitta 3 6 mafia. Hara is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Who - Eminence front. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bayden Wood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Hara!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hara moves out of range of the body kick from Wood.
No luck for Hara with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hara is defended easily by Wood.
Nice sprawl there from Wood as Hara shoots in.
Bayden Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Hara.
Wood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hara walks into a left hand.
Wood throws a nice looking combination but Hara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hara stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wood.

and Hara counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hara.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wood working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hara.
Hara sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wood's guard.
Hara thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hara is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wood doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hara.

Hara is trying to work for a kimura but Wood is defending well.
Hara is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Wood reverses the position - he's now on top in Hara's guard.

Hara wants to sweep but no luck.
Wood trying to control the position from guard on top but Hara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hara is trying to control the position from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hara is on top in guard.
Wood tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Wood is looking for a triangle but Hara pushes his legs off easily.

Hara postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hara stays in close to Wood's body and controls the position.
Hara looking to sit in guard and control but Wood gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hara is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wood is aware though and is defending well.

Hara is working an open guard so Wood takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hara slips a jab and a cross from Wood.

Wood misses with a wild combination.
Left hook, right uppercut from Wood.
Hara misses with a leg kick.
Hara avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wood tried to score with a low kick but Hara checks it.
Wood throws a series of punches but Hara avoids them all with ease.
Wood will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wood misses with a hook. Hara ducked under it nicely.

Hara gets a takedown into half guard.

Hara is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Josh Hara will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hara shoots in and drives through. Wood sprawls well.
A right-left combo lands from Hara.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wood looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wood tries to avoid it but Hara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wood to the ground. Wood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A nice combination there by Wood.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hara enables Wood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hara manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wood passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Wood postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hara tries to buck Wood off but Wood is having none of it.

Wood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hara knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hara tries to escape but Wood is in control.

Wood wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hara, who protects the arm well.
Wood lands an elbow.
Hara prevents Wood from moving into mount.

Wood wants to free his trapped foot but Hara is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hara is looking to improve his position.

Hara regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wood trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wood loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wood's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Hara has his feet on Wood's thighs here. He's pushed Wood off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wood screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
