The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov throws a head kick but Cole moves out of range.

Cole swings wildly with an uppercut but Kozlov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cole tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Nice straight punches there by Kozlov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kozlov.
Kozlov clobbers Cole with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cole lands a leg kick that knocks Kozlov off balance momentarily.
Kozlov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kozlov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cole manages to avoid it.

and Kozlov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cole is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Cole tries to close the distance and clinch but Kozlov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kozlov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cole has time to react.

Kozlov lands a big head kick that sends Cole tumbling to the mat! Kozlov takes a step backwards and waves Cole back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cole glances at the clock... BAM! Kozlov nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Cole crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Cole is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
