The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crockett throws a hook but Deupreaux avoids it easily.
Davy Crockett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deupreaux avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crockett swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Deupreaux.
Donk. Crockett catches Deupreaux right on the button with a cross.
Crockett smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Crockett fails to land with a series of punches.
Crockett is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Deupreaux's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Crockett is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Deupreaux is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
