The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Richtofen defends it nicely.
Richtofen cracks Sato with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Katsuro Sato has been cut.
Sato cracks Richtofen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sato swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Richtofen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sato has time to react.

Sato tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Richtofen is able to avoid easily.
