The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nocon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dunham napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dunham tries to improve position but can't.

Nocon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dunham knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dunham manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Dunham wants to control but Nocon is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dunham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nocon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nocon's back!

Dunham seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Nocon's chin but Nocon turns very nicely into Dunham's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Nocon.
Dunham manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nocon manages to get himself to full guard.

Nocon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dunham throwing strikes but missing.

Dunham drops back looking for a leg! Nocon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nocon manages to kick Dunham off! Dunham jumps back into Nocon's guard.

Dunham has gone for a leg lock! Nocon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dunham's guard.
Nocon wants to get up but he can't break Dunham's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dunham is trying to control the position but Nocon postures up.
Dunham is really struggling to control Nocon but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Dunham manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Dunham quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dunham but it's paid off an Nocon is forced to tap! Nice work by Dunham.
