Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blue Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Swano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Belt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Swano!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Belt.

Belt closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Swano quickly recovers to half guard.
Belt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swano keeps working.
Swano holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Belt wants to free his trapped foot but Swano is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Swano manages to get to full guard.
Swano pulls Belt in close to his closed guard and prevents Belt from doing any damage or advancing position.
Belt trying to control but Swano is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Belt trying to control the position from guard on top but Swano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Blue Belt.
Swano throws a left and a right that both miss

and Belt counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Swano!
The referee asks Belt politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Belt prefers to stall for the moment though.
Belt is looking to take a break and control but Swano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Belt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Swano is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Belt trying to control the action but Swano is working from the bottom.

Belt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Swano, who protects the arm well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Swano is trying to control Belt's posture but Belt avoids it.
Swano is trying to get back to half guard.
Swano is pushing Belt's head away, looking to escape. Belt manages to hold on to the position though.
Belt trying to control the position but Swano is working away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Belt goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Swano rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Belt's guard! Nice work there by Swano!
Swano wants to control from the top but Belt keeps moving.
Belt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Swano manages to get himself to full guard.
Belt wants to control from the top but Swano keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blue Belt dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Belt has his takedown stuffed
letting Swano counter with a right hand.
Belt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Belt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blue Belt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Belt checks a leg kick nicely.
A head kick misses from Swano.
Belt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Swano finds it's way round the side to connect with Belt's head.
Swano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Belt ducks under a wild hook from Swano.
Blue Belt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Swano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Good leg kick by Swano there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Swano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Swano looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Belt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Swano.
Swano finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Belt 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sloppy strikes from Swano. Those never looked like landing.
Dan Swano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Swano clinches with his opponent.

Swano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Swano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Belt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Swano.
Swano misses with a hook. Belt ducked under it nicely.
Swano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Belt.
A combination from Swano does no damage.
Swano throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Belt crashing down! Belt tries to stagger back to his feet but Swano just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Belt asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Swano!
