Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Baroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julius Baroni will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baroni slaps away a takedown attempt from Diaz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Diaz walks into a stiff left hand from Baroni.

Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Baroni tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in Baroni's guard.
Diaz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Baroni is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Baroni utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Baroni is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Diaz is aware though and is defending well.
Baroni is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Baroni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baroni works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Baroni is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baroni trying to keep a closed guard but Diaz is proving a slippery customer.

Diaz drops back looking for a leg! Baroni is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baroni manages to kick Diaz off! Diaz jumps back into Baroni's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diaz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Diaz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Baroni keeps moving.

Baroni has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Diaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Baroni can't keep his opponent in guard - Diaz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Diaz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Diaz working over Baroni with some ground and pound. Baroni looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Diaz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Baroni could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Diaz has cracked it and Baroni is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Diaz!
