The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palazuelos tries to clinch
and Palazuelos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Palazuelos moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Palazuelos ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Palazuelos.
Palazuelos swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Palazuelos loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Palazuelos tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith counters with a big right hand! Oh Palazuelos is in trouble here! Smith follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
