Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Tamad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kahlua Zordick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamad comes to the cage accompanied by The Joker. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zordick scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Tamad can't do much from the bottom here.
Tamad tries to escape but Zordick is in control.

Tamad got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zordick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tamad has managed to get both his arms back between Zordick's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zordick shoots in looking for a takedown. Tamad tries to sprawl out of it but Zordick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tamad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
