Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khal Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Dupitsinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupitsinov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Drogo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drogo throws a head kick that misses.

and Dupitsinov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dupitsinov closes the distance and clinches up with Drogo, looking for a takedown. Dupitsinov pushes Drogo against the cage but Drogo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dupitsinov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Khal Drogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Dupitsinov.
Drogo tries to land knees in the clinch but Dupitsinov avoids the damage to the body.

Dupitsinov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Drogo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Drogo creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Dupitsinov is trying to trip Drogo. He has hold of a leg but Drogo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dupitsinov persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dupitsinov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dupitsinov throws a strike but Drogo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Drogo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drogo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drogo seems to be stalking Dupitsinov here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Dupitsinov drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
