Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alan Karaev!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man misses with the combination.
Man is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A punch combination from Man misses.
Karaev paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Mt Man has been cut.
Karaev swats away the attempt to clinch by Man.
Karaev throws a leg kick but Man sees it coming and moves out of range.
Man fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Karaev with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Karaev tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Man tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Karaev lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Come on Karaev - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Man is trying to push Karaev away but Karaev has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karaev unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Karaev blocks an uppercut.
Man can't find room to land a body shot as Karaev controls the action.
Karaev content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Karaev breaks the clinch.
Man slips under a jab.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karaev moves away.
Karaev moves into the clinch.
Karaev's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Karaev using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Man has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man is trying to break free.
Man throws a head punch that misses.
Man working aggressively here.
Karaev misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Man.
Karaev tries a knee to the head but Man blocks it.
Karaev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab from Man misses.
Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karaev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Man throws a leg kick
and Karaev counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Man to the mat! Karaev runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Man is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Karaev connects with a crisp jab.
Man is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Karaev engages and cracks Man with a massive lead left hook - Man tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Karaev is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alan Karaev!
