The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cisse takes the fight into the clinch.
Ferguson takes a knee right on the jaw!
Cisse is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ferguson successfully pulls guard.
Ferguson working for a triangle but Cisse defends it easily.
Ferguson is trying to control the position but Cisse postures up.
Cisse must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ferguson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cisse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cisse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferguson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
