Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes to the cage accompanied by Gaslight Anthem - Boxer. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stevie Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Gregory Adams has been cut.
Gonzales walks into a left hand.
It looks like Stevie Gonzales has been cut.
Adams is looking to land body kicks.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gonzales crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Adams - the referee stops the clock and Gonzales gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Adams. Gonzales manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Adams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Adams misses with a straight left.

Gonzales keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gonzales checks a leg kick nicely.
Adams lands a big uppercut and Gonzales crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gonzales looks OK. Adams waves Gonzales back to his feet!
Gonzales is rocked!
Gonzales drops his hands momentarily. Adams doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Gonzales staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Gonzales doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gregory Adams!
Gregory Adams was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
