The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iverson misses with a wild combination.
Iverson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Iverson misses with a head kick.
Iverson tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Iverson moves out of range easily.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Iverson tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Iverson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Dave Iverson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Iverson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Iverson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.

Iverson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Iverson gets slowly back to his feet.

Iverson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Iverson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Iverson.
Dougie Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Iverson.
A slapping leg kick lands for Silva.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
