Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandro Manetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sandro Manetti was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Manetti's guard.
Adams is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Manetti wants to get back to his feet but Adams passes into half guard.
Adams passes to side control.
Manetti is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Adams is putting a hurting on Manetti here, landing some big shots from side control.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Adams.
Manetti throws a sloppy head kick and Adams moves out of range easily.

Adams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Manetti defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams.

Adams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Manetti to the mat! Manetti manages to get full guard.
Manetti uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adams manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Manetti on his heels. He'll look to pass Manetti's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manetti wants to stand up but Adams is controlling him.
Adams stands and steps away. Manetti gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Adams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Adams lands in his opponent's guard.

Manetti wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Adams manages to pass to side control.

Manetti is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Adams asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams wants to control but Manetti is keeping him busy.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Tommy Adams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Manetti tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Adams misses with a jab, cross combination.
Manetti fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Manetti keeps Adams at a distance using the push kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Manetti pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Manetti throws a head kick that Adams semi-blocks.
Adams goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Adams tries to land a front kick but Manetti steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Adams avoids the head kick by Manetti.
Manetti tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Manetti wants to clinch up but Adams keeps it at a distance.
Adams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Adams lands with a punch from half guard.
Manetti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Manetti is breathing heavily.
Adams is trying to control the action in half guard but Manetti is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Adams is trying to work for a kimura but Manetti is defending well.
Adams stops Manetti from getting back to his feet.

Adams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Manetti keeps working.

Adams is keen to just control but Manetti is a slippery customer.

Adams is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Manetti sees it coming and defends easily.
Adams wants to take a breather but Manetti is having none of it.

Manetti tries to kick Adams off but Adams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Adams winds up and cracks Manetti with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Adams is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Adams stands up and beckons Manetti to join him on the feet.

Adams scores with a crisp jab that stopped Manetti in his tracks.

Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manetti sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.

Manetti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adams swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Manetti. Adams shrugs it off though.
Adams shoots in for a takedown but Manetti shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Adams shoots in and drives through. Manetti sprawls well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Good leg kick by Manetti there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Manetti is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Adams lets go of the hold and Manetti can pop his arm back in it's socket.
