The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug jabs Stenkov right on the nose. Stenkov blinks but takes it well.
Smaug staying out of range there.
Stenkov throws a sloppy head kick and Smaug moves out of range easily.
Smaug on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stenkov. Stenkov obviously looking to wear him down.
Smaug throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Smaug scores with a nice strike.
Stenkov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smaug sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stenkov throws a hook to the side of Smaug's head but Smaug sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smaug misses with a body kick.
Stenkov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stenkov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Smaug darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Smaug tries to clinch up.
Stenkov just misses with a punch to the body.
Smaug tries to clinch but Stenkov is having none of it.
Smaug throws a low kick, looking for Stenkov's leg but Stenkov calmly moves out of range.
Smaug throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smaug. That's going to slow Stenkov down.
Stenkov takes one to the chin there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smaug throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stenkov looks winded!
Smaug just misses with a punch to the body.
Stenkov throws the left hand but Smaug avoids the punch easily.
Smaug misses with a hook.

Stenkov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smaug scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Smaug thuds his shin into the meat of Stenkov's side.
Smaug misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Smaug throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Smaug cracks Stenkov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Stenkov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smaug finish him?

Stenkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Smaug counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Stenkov leaves his chin hanging out and Smaug seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Stenkov crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
