Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrille Diabate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fabolous - Breathe . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cyrille Diabate!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diabate stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.
Diabate throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.
Crunch! Diabate slams his shin into Davis's torso.
Davis fails to land with a series of punches.
Diabate lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davis circles away quickly and effectively.
Davis shoots in and drives through. Diabate sprawls well.
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diabate stalks Davis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Davis's face. Davis staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Phil Davis has been cut.
Diabate keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Davis moves into range and clinches up with Diabate.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis takes an elbow to the temple.
Davis prevents Diabate from breaking the clinch.
Davis blocks an elbow strike from Diabate.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diabate goes for a takedown in the clinch but Davis prevents it.
Davis can't break the clinch.
Davis wants a takedown.
Davis is trying to drag Diabate to the mat but Diabate just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Davis has Diabate pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Davis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Diabate tumbling to the mat - Davis dives into Diabate's guard.
Davis is breathing heavily.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Davis drops back looking for a leg! Diabate is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diabate manages to kick Davis off! Davis jumps back into Diabate's guard.
Diabate wants to stand but Davis is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Davis stands and steps away. Diabate gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Davis scores with a takedown into Diabate's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Davis wants to control from the top but Diabate keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Davis stops Diabate from standing up.
Davis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Diabate works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Diabate is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davis tries to free his leg and advance position but Diabate is retaining full guard.
Davis trying to stand up but can't free himself from Diabate's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Diabate wants to stand but Davis is controlling the position.
Diabate really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Davis drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Davis as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Diabate screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Davis! Nice submission victory there!
