The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luke pushes Staunton up against the cage in a clinch.
Luke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Staunton misses with a wild combination.
Staunton wants to clinch
and Luke moves into the clinch.
Luke breaks the clinch.
Staunton shoots and misses
and Luke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Staunton is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Luke is keeping busy.

Staunton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luke takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Staunton throws a leg kick which misses Luke's front leg but catches the back leg as Luke tries to avoid it.
Staunton connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Staunton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Luke avoids the head kick by Staunton.
Staunton has his takedown stuffed
and Luke counters with a nice low kick that buckles Staunton's knee momentarily.
Staunton is breathing heavily.

A head kick misses from Luke.
Staunton throws a right and a left that Luke avoids nicely.
Luke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Luke breaks the clinch.
Staunton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Luke seems to be stalking Staunton here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Staunton drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
