The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill shoots for a double leg takedown but Cutter sprawls well. He's pushed Bill's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cutter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cutter closes the distance and clinches.
Bill is looking to take this one to the mat.
Bill takes a knee to the side of the body.

Cutter lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Sonny Bill has been cut.
Cutter lands an elbow inside that Bill shrugs off.

Bill is working for takedown but Cutter is calmly controlling the position for now.
Syd Cutter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonny Bill.
Cutter creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bill's defenses.
